We nurture our faith through worship, discipleship and service opportunities.
Adults of all ages serve in visible roles in our weekly worship services as acolytes, ushers/greeters, oblation bearers, readers, Eucharistic ministers and in the choir, and serve in these and other roles during special holiday services.
Adult Education classes are held during the 9:15 a.m. Christian Education time on Sundays and a book group is offered on Thursday afternoons at 1:00 p.m. Ascension also hosts an interdenominational ladies Bible study group on Wednesday mornings.
Adults also strengthen their faith through many service opportunities. From helping serve the weekly free soup lunches and the bi-monthly Second Harvest Mobile Food Pantries, to volunteering with our Preschool and Children’s and Youth Ministries, to collecting donations for local and global ministries, food banks and humanitarian organizations; we know that part of changing ourselves is helping to bring positive change to our community and the world in Christ’s name.
