Sundays 8:00 AM
This is a quiet service with a sermon but without music, and is favored by a smaller number of people who prefer the early hour and the Elizabethan language of Rite 1 liturgy.
Sundays 10:15 AM
This is our primary Sunday worship. We have hymns and music year-round, and our wonderful choir leads our singing from early Fall to Summer. You may encounter a children’s sermon or a biblical skit, or a special celebration such as the Blessing of the Animals in early October. We worship using the more contemporary language of our Rite 2 liturgy. Childcare is available in our nursery during this service for infants and children through 4 years old. Children’s Chapel is available for children through 5th grade.
Sundays 6:00 PM @ Pitt-Bradford
During the school year, we offer a 30 minute service of evening prayer at the Harriet B. Wick Chapel at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Campus. This informal service is open to students and members of the community alike.
Special Services
Throughout the year we may also have Evensong or Compline, which are prayer-filled services based on the monastic observance of the hours of the day. Holy Week, the week before Easter, is filled with worship services that bring us in deep solemnity and prayer through the days of Jesus’ passion and death, and lead us into the joyous celebration of Easter day. In Advent, special services help us to prepare in quiet hopefulness for the Incarnation, the coming of our Savior into the world.
