Lent Begins

We are preparing to Observe a Holy Lent @ Ascension:

Shrove Tuesday, February 17th
Pancake Supper from 5-7 p.m. @ the church
Join us for a final pre-Lent fling at our annual pancake supper featuring all you can eat sour dough pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage and breakfast beverages. To go plates are available, too!

Ash Wednesday, February 18th
Ashes to Go 10:30-11:30 a.m. @ Veterans’ Square
and at 2:00 p.m. @ Bradford Regional Medical Center chapel
Avail yourself of the opportunity to receive ashes and a brief prayer if you are among the folks who are not able to make a regular service that day.
Communion with Imposition of Ashes at 12 noon & 7 p.m. @ the church
Experience the full and ancient Ash Wednesday liturgical service within a worshiping community.
